Building community through partnership.
MMJGA has joined forces with a number of organizations to grow the game of golf and include urban minority young people facing economic and other barriers to the sport. We work especially closely with the following organizations:
Professional Golf Association
The PGA has recognized the value of MMJGA and supports our programs. In 2002, this partnership also resulted in 30 community service agencies coordinating to send over 600 young people to championship tournament and golf clinics. This partnership is also an integral part of MMJGA's recruitment for participants in its program.
Grants and Other Funding
- For the Good of the Game Grant, USGA

By empowering organizations that reach out to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and individuals with disabilities, the USGA brings the game to more than 150,000 kids each year. Grant awards support instructional programs, caddie and other work-based curriculums, and the construction of facilities that make the game both more affordable and accessible.
- Growth of the Game Grant, The PGA Foundation

The PGA Foundation is dedicated to providing young people of every ability, race, gender, social and economic background an opportunity to experience the game of golf and learn vital life lessons. The PGA Foundation achieves its mission through programs that enrich the lives of those involved, and provide educational, employment and scholarship opportunities.
- Celebrating Communites Of Color Grant, General Mills Foundation
